Hull City's Sorba Thomas Walks Away Unhurt From Car Crash

Premier League winger Sorba Thomas has been involved in a car crash close to Hull City's training ground, with the club confirming the 27-year-old escaped without injury. The incident happened on Millhouse Woods Lane in Cottingham on Friday morning at around 08:30 BST.

Images circulating on social media showed his grey Land Rover Defender overturned with its windows shattered. Humberside Police confirmed emergency services attended the scene and that the road was closed while investigations continued.

In a statement, Hull City said it was relieved to confirm that Thomas had come away from the crash unharmed, adding that he emerged from the vehicle completely unscathed despite the images circulating online.

Thomas joined Hull earlier this month from Championship side Stoke City on a four-year deal. It remains to be seen whether the incident will have any bearing on his availability for Saturday's Premier League fixture against Chelsea.
