Wolves have confirmed the signing of young striker Sean Neave from Newcastle on a season-long loan. The 19-year-old joins having spent his entire career at St James' Park since the age of 13, making two senior appearances for the Magpies so far.
Neave signed his first professional contract with Newcastle in July 2024 and made his senior debut in the Champions League during a 6-1 win over Qarabag FK in February under Eddie Howe.
Wolves executive chairman Nathan Shi said he was delighted to bring in the England Under-19 international, explaining that head coach Cesar Peixoto and technical director Matt Jackson had both spoken with Neave and come away impressed, with the club confident he has the potential to succeed at Molineux. Shi added that Neave would have the full support of the club as he settles in, and pointed to the experience already present in the striking department through Raul Jimenez and Adam Armstrong, saying a younger profile like Neave complements that group well ahead of what is expected to be a long and demanding Championship campaign.
